How it works
Nothing to install, nothing for residents to hold, and nothing to prepare.
Open your show link on the TV
A laptop, Fire TV or Chromecast is all it takes. Your link is private to your community.
Scan the code with your phone
Your phone becomes the remote, with the answer to every question so you can judge and award points.
Let them talk
After each answer Lou asks the room a question. "Who here ever owned a Mustang?" Pause as long as the stories keep coming.
Every episode
Sixteen questions across four rounds, in five styles: multiple choice, finish the slogan, guess the year, higher or lower, and which came first.
Four rounds
About 25 minutes from welcome to final score.
Not too easy, not too hard
Familiar subjects with a twist, so the room has to think. Most questions somebody gets; a few stump everybody.
Teams and a scoreboard
Two, three or four teams. You award the points from your phone; the TV keeps score.
A pace for every room
Independent living, assisted living, or memory care: two choices instead of three, no visible clock, questions read twice.
Made for a big room
Large text, captions on every line, and a high-contrast mode for low vision.
Participation report
Tap who answered and copy a tally straight into your activity notes.
What you need
A TV with sound and one of these. Your phone remote works with all of them.
| Setup | How |
|---|---|
| Laptop + HDMI cable | Open your show link in Chrome, press F for full screen. The most reliable way, and the sound comes through the TV. |
| Chromecast or Google TV | Open your show link in Chrome on a laptop and cast the tab. |
| Amazon Fire TV Stick | Open the Silk browser and go to your show link. |
| iPad + Apple TV | Open your show link in Safari and use Screen Mirroring. |
Roku and Apple TV on their own don't have a web browser, so they need one of the setups above.

Questions directors ask
Is there a free trial?
There's the sample at the top of this page. After that, every subscription comes with a full refund in the first 30 days. Play it with your residents for a month; if it isn't right for them, email us and we refund every penny.
Does it listen to the room?
No. There's no microphone and no camera. You decide who got it right and tap the points on your phone.
Who is Lou?
Lou is the host, an AI voice. Everything Lou says is also on screen in large captions, and you can turn the voice off and read the questions yourself any time.
Does it work for memory care?
Yes. Pick the Memory care pace: two choices instead of three, no visible clock, every question read twice, and the trickier question styles left out.
What's the Home Turf round?
One round every episode is about your state. Right now that's North Carolina. Tell us your state when you sign up and it moves to the front of the line.
Can I cancel?
Any time. Your show link pauses at the end of the month you paid for, and picks up where you left off if you come back.
